Spooks Series 9 filmed some scenes last week at Foxhills in Surrey. Foxhills has posted some pictures on their facebook page.

Media page has been updated with another Santander TV ad.

There is a small article in the forthcoming Radio Times (March 14th), on Clarissa, the BBC4 radio play, in which Richard plays the leading role of Robert Lovelace. It has been uploaded to the RAC Library. (Thanks to C4)

Venetia, the abridged audiobook, of the Georgette Heyer novel, read by Richard Armitage is now available at Amazon.co.uk and is due to be dispatched on March 12th, several weeks earlier than expected. (Thanks to C4)

According to Richard's UA profile, Spooks 9 has started filming. There have also been two Twitter posts saying that Spooks has filmed in Foxhills in Surrey this week. (Thanks Monetsmum and uditt!)

The transcript of the Naxos Venetia interview has now been added to the RAC Library (Thanks Suzi12sq!).

Starting from Saturday, 6th March UK/TV in Oz will be screening Robin Hood 2 at 12.00 midday. The first episode is Sisterhood. (Thanks Ariadne)

Richard will star as the rake Lovelace in the BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of Clarissa. The four-part series begins Sunday, March 14. (Thanks Maz)
Clarissa, adapted as a 4-part audio play by Hattie Naylor, has been produced by Catherine Bailey for BBC4 and will air on 14th, 21st, 28th March and 4th April 2010 at 3pm – Radio 4.

Strike Back (region 2) dvd is now available for preorder at Amazon UK and Play.com. Release date is June 14, 2010. (Thanks shybrunette)

The BBC site has added Richard as a 'participant' for the episode of BBC's Natural World series, 'Forest Elephants: Rumbles in the Jungle.' It airs on Thursday March 4th at 8 pm on BBC2 and BBC HD. (Thanks 30Rock)

BBC Winter Olympics 2010 advertisements - Studio AKA. These advertisements feature a voiceover by Richard Armitage in the UK. (You can find downloads of some of the ads here.) This piece does not refer to Richard. It is, however, some interesting information on the production team and idea behind the BBC's Winter Olympics advertisements, produced by Studio AKA. *The broadcasting of George Gently in The Netherlands on January 27th was a great success. With more than 1 million viewers, the episode was in the top 10 (8th place) of best viewed programs that day. (Thanks to Petra)

"An interview with Simon Guerrier, Doctor Who author", Examiner.com, Chris McKeon. Simon Gautier wrote the Robin Hood 3 audiobook, The Siege (you'll find excerpts and information on the audiobook here). The article deals mostly with Dr Who but there's a brief reference to his reason for writing The Siege about a third of the way down.)

Robin Hood Series 3 dvd has been released in NA. This is a very favourable review of the series by HollywoodChicago.com and a nice comment on Richard as Sir Guy.

Audio file for the Santander TV ad has been added to the Media page.

Richard Armitage, together with the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Prince Charles and Prince William, Olympic Gold Medallists and well known authors and politicians, sent a letter of congratulations to the Robert Miles Infant School in Bingham, on its 100th anniversary. "TV stars, royalty and politicians help pupils celebrate their school's centenary", Grantham Journal.co.uk.
