Richard will be narrating a new series of 'Homes from Hell' - Dubai Dreams. The stories of British people who invested in the Dubai property boom, but were left with nothing when the recession hit and construction projects worth £50billion were put on hold. It airs on Thursday, July 1st at 9:00 pm on ITV1. (TVGuide.co.uk)

BBC Worldwide has announced its sale of Strike Back to ABC in Australia. "Our audience will really engage with these stories and having some actors very familiar to our viewers, such as Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln, is an extra bonus,” said Marena Manzoufas, ABC TV’s Head of Programming'. Richard will be presenting at the BAFTAs being held on Sunday night 6th June. They will be televised on BBC1 from 8.00 pm - 10.00 pm. (Thanks to Patty)

David Stephenson's (Sunday Express) blog entry has some very nice things to say about Richard. You can find the published print interview he refers to in the RAC Library. The full interview he links to was orignally published in two, incomplete, parts. Transcriptions of both are in the RAC Transcriptions Library. Part 1 discusses his role as John Porter in Strike Back and is in the RAC John Porter Transcriptions Library. Part 2 talks about Richard's career in general, his fans, and his future plans and is in the RAC General Transcriptions Library. The Belgium digital channel Acht has started broadcasting Spooks series 8. They will be airing a new episode every day followed with a repeat.
The Dutch digital channel Net 5 will be broadcasting Cold Feet series 5 from Thursday, June 6th

In reviewing it, Jean Palmer (giving in 5 stars), says, "British actor Richard Armitage's reading one of Georgette Heyer's best classic regency romances, combined with Naxos technical expertise and most appropriate musical interludes is absolute heaven ... Armitage's fully-voiced performance is simply amazing and listeners will only regret that he did not read the entire text instead of an abridgment, albeit, an excellent abridgment ... ". "I wish I could go more often without washing or having to make myself presentable." Richard told Melissa van der Klugt for Times Online. "Playing an ex-Special Forces soldier in Iraq I had to make myself rougher. My body was covered in gunshot wounds, scratches, ground-in dust and I had stubble and greasy hair. Robin Hood 3 begins on ABC2 Saturday, May 1st at 7.30 pm. In the first episode, "When Robin returns from the Holy Land to avenge Marian's murder, an epic battle rages between him and Gisborne, with both determned to fight to the death." We also meet a new character, Brother Tuck.

Sky has added some great Behind the Scenes photos to its Strike Back website.
