@SavageProd tweeted that the film Pilgrimage will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, NYC in April. The festival runs from April 19-30. The schedule is not live yet, but individual tickets to viewings can be purchased starting March 28.
Pilgrimage will be showing on Thursday, February 9 – 13.00 – Cinestar 1 and Saturday, February 11 – 15.00 – Cinestar Imax as part of the European Film Festival at the 67th Berlinale.
Two of Richard’s projects, Brain on Fire (based Susannah Calahan’s memoire, “My Month of Madness”) and Pilgrimage (the story of a group of medieval monks transporting a holy relic from Ireland to Rome) are being considered for inclusion in Cannes.
According to the link to a list of the Irish Film Board’s 2016 releases, tweeted by Jamie Hannigan, Pilgrimage is due for release ‘early’ in 2016.

Thanks to @Chrissyinwm for tweeting the link to his Variety article. Abbolita Films in partnership with XYZ Films will be distributing ‘Brain on Fire’ and ‘Pilgrimage’. ‘Brain on Fire’ will be distributed in the US by Broad Green Pictures.
The Hollywood Reporter has posted the first pictures of Richard, Jon Bernthal and Tom Holland from the upcoming Pilgrimage.
They say of Richard’s character, Raymond de Merville, “Armitage portrays a misanthropic knight with whom the monks are forced to share their journey.”
