This is Leicestershire talks about a fan movement supporting Richard’s much talked-of and hoped for production of Richard III and quotes Richard from an article for Leicester Mercury’s More magazine,
“Richard III, now that’s a play. I was named after him. My father’s a historical fanatic about his character and I’ve inherited that enthusiasm, but I know by the time I get the chance I’ll be too old and too tall to play the role.
“I’d somehow like to realise that part of history.”
According to Variety, today, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to reach $1 billion worldwide by March. Making it the 15th film to reach that mark alongside films such as Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Titanic, the Dark Knight and Avatar.
“The New Line-Warner Bros. tentpole hit $921 million on Monday, with $288.7 million domestic and $632.2 international after a sixth weekend total of $21 million.”
