Channel 10, an Oz television station had a 1.50s report on The Hobbit by their entertainment reporter, Angela Bishop. She spoke with Peter Jackson and Kate Blanchett. There was nothing of Richard but there was a short Thorin moment.

In a new interview with the Dominion Post in New Zealand, Richard talks about auditioning for the role of Thorin, about how he doesn’t think he’ll be recognized on the streets after the release of the film, and being in NY during the height of Hurricane Sandy.
